Growing up around construction has played a critical role in my life. I remember visiting my father’s job sites as a child, captivated by the process that took place from one phase into the next. That fascination never left me, and my initial field training began in college working for the family business. What started as processing permit packages quickly evolved into structural planning and design with clients. Before long I was working alongside architects and engineers taking our ideas on paper and bringing them to life.
After gaining several years of experience, and graduating college, I wanted to take what I was able to build to the next level. I moved to Los Angeles, CA, designing & managing projects for a group that specialized in luxury residential and hospitality décor. I gained valuable knowledge and skillsets that provided me with the confidence to start my own company. In 2015 Jorde Carey Inc. was established upon my return home to Florida.
Being able to develop a project from the initial design stages through to completion is extremely rewarding. I appreciate each phase of the process leading up to the final installation, and take great pride in the execution of every project. By working closely with my subcontractors and vendors, I am able to ensure the highest quality craftsmanship is provided.
